Autism, Obamacare and the love of ranting..

#Autism, Obamacare and the love of ranting..

So often the health issues can pile up as stress and anxiety is the worse condition you can have, in my opinion. There is no quick fix or surgery and it can inadvertently affect your entire being. I have ER bills, clinics, etc. And I RARELY ever see a Dr., I can only imagine the medical debt of those who do see a Dr. regularly.

After 13 years of working 75-100 hours a week my body has said, "screw you". I am presently unemployed and working as much as I can from home and for my self. I am uninsured and have been for at least 6 years. I have primarily worked as a Chef and insurance is few and far between unless you work for a chain.
Moral of the story, am I signing up for Obamacare? Hell no.

I am Autistic, math is easy for me even though I despise it (must be an inborn female trait to hate math no matter the difficulty). I cannot see how this is good for our country. I see how it is good for people to get healthcare. We all need it, trust me I KNOW. I have a million problems that could be solved with a few Dr. visits but I cannot currently afford it. Dr.'s who work with Autistic adults are few and far between. Going with anyone else is pre-maturely donating your body to science, no thanks.

So, no, I am not enrolling for Obamacare and I'd suggest others do not as well. Our children will pay dearly for it or it will fail due to the fact that if enough young people do not enroll then it cannot pay for itself, do you think anyone else is going to loan the u.s. money?

I am not very political but this has been thrown around a lot, and I have been told it is a great choice and that it is a horrible choice. I will eventually get insurance my self and honestly, rates HAVE gone down considerably. It's a great time to enroll in insurance coverage via providers and you might find, like I did, that the prices are comparable to that of Obamacare. Shop around and see what you find.

As Americans we have lost patience with general things, including health care. We will like everyone should be cared for and healthy, and in a perfect world we would be. Canada has a health care system and you may wait months for even an x-ray. It's life, unfortunately we all get sick and bad things do happen. Sometimes we can correct those things, sometimes it is too late. Prevention is key. I'm sorry if this post offends anyone, it is not meant to. I just hope everyone enrolling understands the burden this could have on our country. It may just simply not be ready for it considering our economic status.
